The team implemented Zero Knowledge Range Proof into the EKO Blockchain Platform recently. Zero Knowledge Range Proof enables users to prove that certain data points are within a defined and publicly known numeric range without revealing the actual data points.
There are many applications that could benefit from the implementation of Zero Knowledge Range Proof, such as KYC process by exchanges and other financial applications. More specific to our project, one specific use case would be the use of Zero Knowledge Range Proof to verify a user’s test scores or skill ratings by the EkoLink core application (e.g. a student received an A – 90-100% in the test) without revealing the exact score or rating.
