This Privacy Policy explains how EchoLink ("EKO", "we") handles information when you use the EKO platform. We aim to collect only what we need to provide and improve the service.
Account and contact details you provide; learning activity and the work you submit for assessment; technical data such as device and usage information; and, where you connect a wallet, your public wallet address and on-chain activity relevant to credentials and payments.
On-chain data (such as credentials and transactions) is public and permanent by the nature of blockchains. Do not put information on-chain that you need to keep private or be able to delete.
To generate and personalize learning paths and materials; to assess work and issue credentials; to operate payments and job-matching; to maintain security and prevent fraud or cheating; and to improve the platform. AI systems may process your submitted work to provide feedback and assessment.
We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, with employers or platforms only as needed for features you choose to use (such as presenting a credential), and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold off-chain. Note that information published to a blockchain cannot be altered or removed by us. Contact [email protected] to make a request.
We use reasonable measures to protect information but cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain off-chain data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
EKO is used globally and information may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We may update this Policy and will post the revised date above. Questions: [email protected].
